As I said earlier, I don’t trust upgrades and if you already have a quirky system I don’t see it getting better as the quirks follow unless it is OS specific. We upgraded a to server to buy us some time and the applications installed are no longer available – virtualizing wasn’t an option due to a piece of hardware required and it gave us far more issues than the did, while we had no choice, if it wasn’t for the pending EOL at the time we wouldn’t have bothered at all.
