For devices that originally had Windows 10 Pro edition installed, when a license expires or is transferred to another user, the Windows 10 Pro Education device seamlessly steps back down to Windows 10 Pro. Enabling the automatic change also triggers an email message notifying all global administrators in your organization about the change. It also contains a link that enables any global administrators to cancel the change if they choose.
