I would not apply the enablement package during the TS as that will require Software updates needs to be deployed after the Enablement package as well which takes time. For me i do have some customizations in the Image that i do not want to recreate at this point of time.. For me time during the TS deploymnet is not much of an issue. I just need to know where in TS and how i apply the Enablement package.
That’s why you need to have an automated image build process or you should move your customizations to the deployment phase. Agree with above reply. Based on my experience, it’s no need to add enablement package to existing task sequence to upgrade the OS. If you would like to upgrade from Windows 10 to via task sequence, it’s recommended to add an Operating System Upgrade Package and use in-place upgrade task sequence.

I don’t have time to setup MDT and even if I did none of these computers are on a domain. They’re all on a separate network and am not going to waste time setting up a whole new domain and MDT. The computers will remain unpatched. Microsoft has once again made a stupid decision that will compromise security. I know you’re not happy with the way things have turned out, but it’s a real reality.
If we need to manage those computers more efficient in the future, spend time to setup a domain environment is necessary which can associate devices in different location, different network.
Also for management those device such as update, upgrade, deploy and so on, management tool is also necessary to make work more efficient. But if you are not prefer to use them, the measure we could do is update them one by one. Or we could create a script to execute it on each device to complete update action. An issue has been found related to how the mapping of certificates to machine accounts is being handled by the domain controller. Note: Installation of updates released May 10, , on client Windows devices and non-domain controller Windows Servers will not cause this issue. This issue only affects installation of May 10, , updates installed on servers used as domain controllers. Workaround: The preferred mitigation for this issue is to manually map certificates to a machine account in Active Directory.

If the preferred mitigation will not work in your environment, please see KB—Certificate-based authentication changes on Windows domain controllers for other possible mitigations in the SChannel registry key section. Resolution: This issue was resolved in out-of-band updates released May 19, for installation on all Domain Controllers in your environment, as well as all intermediary application servers such as Network Policy Servers NPS , RADIUS, Certification Authority CA , or web servers which passes the authentication certificate from the client being authenticated to the authenticating DC.
If you used any workaround or mitigations for this issue, they are no longer needed, and we recommend you remove them. There is no action needed on the client side to resolve this authentication issue.
To get the standalone package for these out-of-band updates, search for the KB number in the Microsoft Update Catalog.
